Geometry

The students spent the last few weeks learning to describe, sort, classify, build, and compare two-dimensional shapes. They used a variety of activities to help them learn. These included play-dough shapes, geo-boards, seasonal cut and paste activities, shape pictures, shape fishing, shape colouring and shape Santas. The students got really good at identifying shapes based on the number of vertices and straight lines.
