About Mr. Nunes
I have been teaching for 12 years. I recently transferred from the Peel District School Board where I taught Music and Outdoor Education to secondary and intermediate students. This is my first year teaching Kindergarten.
I grew up in Mississauga, attended teachers college at the University of Toronto, and then moved to British Columbia for a few years. My wife Kristin and I decided to move to Wasaga Beach in 2009 to be closer to family and to enjoy the great features of the region. We now have two sons, Xavier, who is 5 years old and in senior kindergarten, and Zachary, who is 2 years old and pretends to go to school. Along with my family, I enjoy music, travel, and most sports and outdoor activities.
Having little ones has changed my views on early education. I am really enjoying teaching kindergarten this year and take the responsibility and privilege very seriously. I will do my best everyday to provide a safe and engaging learning environment for your child/children.
